In John 14:18, Jesus gives a promise that reaches into the deepest wound of humanity: “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”
In that one statement, Jesus reveals both the problem and the answer.
The problem is orphanhood—living disconnected from the Father.
The answer is His presence, His Spirit, and His work of adoption that restores us to sonship.
