Scripture Focus:
Genesis 1:26-28
Before sin, shame, fear, or striving ever entered the human story, God created humanity for relationship. You were not made to live disconnected, abandoned, or alone. You were created in the image and likeness of God to know Him, walk with Him, and reflect Him in the earth. The Father’s original design was never orphanhood; it was sonship.
The orphan mindset begins with the lie that we must make life work by ourselves. But the truth found in the Word of God says something better: your identity begins with the Father. You do not have to invent your worth, earn your place, or prove that you matter. You were made to belong to God and to live from His love.
Prayer: Father, renew my understanding of who I am. Teach me to see myself through Your original design and not through fear, rejection, or striving. Help me receive the truth that I was created for relationship with You. Amen.
Declaration: I was created for belonging. I am not alone, abandoned, or without purpose. My identity begins in the Father’s love, and I receive my place as His child.
Reflect: Where have I been living as though I am on my own instead of living from the Father’s love?
