Scripture Focus: Galatians 4:4-7
The gospel is more than the forgiveness of sin; it is the restoration of relationship. Jesus came at the fullness of time to redeem us and bring us into adoption as sons. In Christ, you are not merely tolerated by God. You are received, named, loved, and given a place in the family.
A slave lives under fear, always wondering if enough has been done. A son lives from belonging, knowing the Father’s heart is not earned by performance. The Spirit of adoption teaches your heart to cry, “Abba, Father.” That cry is not religious language; it is the sound of restored identity.
Prayer: Father, thank You that through Jesus I am no longer a slave but a child. Let the Spirit of adoption become real in my heart. Teach me to live from belonging instead of fear. Amen.
Declaration: I am no longer a slave to fear or striving. Through Jesus Christ, I have been adopted into the family of God. I belong to the Father, and I live as His child.
Reflect: In what area of my life am I still trying to earn what the Father has already given in Christ?
